​Why does it seem we go around some of the same mountains over & over or in other words, find ourself in the same situation or fighting the same battle time & time again???
Because we were not made to be self-sufficient and do not have it in us to fix ourself. We are promised trials & tests in this life. And I believe they can grow our character to be more like Jesus and less like our selfish selves if that’s how we choose to look at them. I believe they point out triggers/roots God wants us to deal with to bring freedom in that area. I believe they prepare us to grow more & more into who we were created to be and to build our patience, trust in God and endurance to keep moving forward.
God never intended us to keep living in circles, fighting the same battles. He actually gave us His Holy Spirit to get through the tests & trials after we give our heart, life & desires to Jesus. The Holy Spirit dwells in us to give us the ability to get through the troubles of this world and move us into more freedom with each passing day.
Thank You God for always giving us a way of escape from everything we find or put ourselves in. You are faithful and in You I put my full trust!!!
Father, reveal the triggers & roots deep within and give us Your wisdom to know where to go, what to read, who to see, etc. to heal from them and walk in the freedom Jesus gave His life to give us! The enemy comes ONLY to kill, steal & destroy us BUT JESUS came to give us life & life in it’s fullness. I trust You! In Jesus holy & precious name, Amen!!

​Everyday I can have thousands of thoughts going through my head. And many times I can feel overwhelmed, frustrated & just plain mad. At times I feel like I want to let go or just give up. And I can complain or ugg loudly with words…Then I stop!  I know better!  Yes in this world I will deal with frustration, thoughts that aren’t mine and distractions at every turn. But God!
I don’t say But God lightly. I say this because it is a daily battle. My thoughts are racing and I MUST TAKE CONTROL OF THEM!  I stop, I take a deep breath and I say “God I can’t do this, please Help me Jesus”. 
It’s then when I feel like a warm, comfy blanket of peace is wrapped around me. My mind quiets and specific thoughts come. I write them down, thank God for His help and I do those tasks. When my mind starts racing again, I stop & go back to my list. My list given when I asked for the Helper Who loves me, loves US, so much He wants to be involved in EVERY part of our life. 
We have the ability to overcome ANYTHING & EVERYTHING that has happened to us, against us, by us, things we chose, things chosen for us, abuse, addiction, emotional, mental, physical. The ALL & the EVERY CAN BE OVERCOME, if we choose to do WHATEVER & EVERYTHING we need to get through it with the One is with us through it. I know, I’m proof!
Father lead us to the Truth of what a real relationship with Jesus is and how to practically live with Him. Show us Lord how to allow the Holy Spirit to live through us, the vessel created & purposed for You & Your glory!  Father, the best is only found through the work of Jesus and our heart change towards Him and by Him. Help us, show us & prepare our hearts to see, hear & understand Your Truth, The Truth.  In Jesus’ perfect and powerful & loving name, Amen!!!
